Il Centro di Riferimento Oncologico (CRO) è uno degli 8 Istituti di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico (IRCCS) che operano in Italia in ambito oncologico. Il CRO, con sede nella Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia, nell’Italia nord orientale, e gli altri istituti oncologici hanno aderito ad Alleanza contro il Cancro (ACC), un’Associazione, fortemente voluta dal Ministero della Salute, finalizzata a condividere progetti, risorse finanziarie e umane. The Centro di Riferimento Oncologico is one of seven Italian oncology institutes officially designated by the Italian government as Scientific Institutes for Research, Hospitalization and Health Care (IRCCS). The CRO, located in the North-East of Italy, and other Italian oncology institutes recently joined the “Alliance Against Cancer” (Alleanza Contro il Cancro, ACC), a network created expressly to share projects, finances and resources in the field of oncology.
